Graeme E. Parkes, AACI, P.APP.

Graeme started his career in 1991 with Parkes Luaghton and Associates in Vancouver where he was first employed as a researcher/assistant. Within a year he was completing appraisals on his own commencing with smaller one tenant commercial projects, industrial buildings, and apartment blocks. In 1998 the firm transformed to Parkes and Company Appraisals and he was promoted to the position of Senior Appraiser. His duties at this time included producing appraisals, as well as proof reading reports written by other appraisers. He learned to appraise multi-tenant income producing properties and became proficient at utilizing the "ARGUS" lease analysis and Discounted Cash Flow program. He also became conversant with conducting assessment appeals, acting as both expert witness and agent.

Graeme left Parkes and Company in 2000 when offered a job with Essex Appraisal in Edmonton. While with Essex he undertook a wide variety of assignments including appraising office towers, industrial buildings, shopping centres, hotels/motels, proposed projects and special use facilities. He currently completes assignments and assessment appeals on a wide range of commercial properties.

Randell B. Wyton, AACI, P.App

Within the span of his 30 years in the appraisal profession, Randell has been involved in all facets of real estate valuation. In the early 1980's his career began in the field of single-family home appraisals. Moving to Vancouver in 1987, Randell worked for American Appraisal Associates as their Western Canada representative valuing special purpose industrial properties, and other commercial real estate. After acquiring an AACI designation in 1990, Randell moved back to Edmonton and started Essex Appraisal.

Under the Essex Appraisal banner, Randell has established his credentials as a specialist in the valuation of multi-family properties with emphasis on condominium developments. Essex Appraisal has been responsible for the valuation of approximately 60% of all new condominium projects in the Edmonton area since 1991. In recent years, Randell has expanded into valuations of subdivision developments and senior's homes.
